About Grown and Gathered
Background
Grown and Gathered came into being whilst I was looking for work that could fit around my caring responsibilities. I was pressing flowers and seaweed to create pieces for my own home, and that of family and friends, and tentatively began to list some of my artworks online.
It has grown slowly from there, learning through a combination of experimentation, research and collaboration, how to preserve a wide variety of flowers and seaweeds.
In the last 12 months I have begun to teach the processes I use at workshops, so others can create pressed flower art for themselves.
